Do you need some holiday ideas? We have got some crafty things to keep the kids busy.

What you will need: 

• Cardbpard egg carton 
• Markers 
• Scissors 
• Googly Eyes & pompoms 
• Sellotape
• Paints & piantbrush 
• Pipecleaners 
• Glue

1. Cut the egg carton into rows. Cut the lid and flaps off first, next cut down the middle of the egg carton so that you have two rows. 
2. Paint your carton! Choose your colours and paint away, make sure the carton is fully dry before moving to the next step. 
3. Punch two holes in the first cup. Choose which end of the carton you want to be the head, then poke two holes in the middle for the antenna using scissors. 
4. Cut a pipe cleaner in pieces to create the legs, then poke it through the holes. Flip the caterpillar over so that you can see inside and secure the pipe cleaners with some sellotape. 
5. Using the other half of the pipe cleaner put through the holes in the head to make the antenna. It will create a V, secure on the inside with glue or sellotape. 
6. Glue two googly eyes onto the front end, just below the antenna. 
7. Use a market to draw a mouth on your catepillar.
