Beyond the Classroom: Outdoor Education Adventures.

Getting outdoors, learning new skills, and making the most of the summer weather. Outdoor education goes beyond the traditional classroom learning, providing experiences that develop teamwork, confidence, personal growth and immerse students in the beautiful scenery. 

At Youthtown we have a dedicated outdoors team who are passionate about young people and seeing them take on new and unique experiences. Based at Ōrākei Basin and Motu Moana, our team are experts at delivering activities like rock-climbing, archery, sailing, paddle-boarding, kayaking and more. 

These experiences encourage physical fitness, resilience, communication, team-work, problem-solving and more. 

In the April Holidays our team will be delivering Outdoor Adventures at Ōrākei Basin this programme includes activities like sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. We will also get our expert team heading along to some sites to deliver some exciting activities. 

Youthtown delivers EOTC (education outside the classroom) and ABL (adventure-based learning to local schools and we also deliver sports packages to help schools meet their PE (physical education/literacy) needs. We have OutdoorsMark certification, ensuring we have the best skills to provide a safe and fulfilling experience for your students.
