Welcome to Youthtown Pinehurst!

At Pinehurst we run Holiday & After School Programmes, these are for Pinehurst students only.

We are based in the After School Care room at the rear of the school and have access to plenty of field space and the awesome playground located at the school. 

From the first time you enter our Youthtown programme, you’ll be warmly greeted by our team and treated as part of our Youthtown whānau.

Youthtown is a NZ not-for profit that has been supporting children and young people with a range or programmes for over 90 years. Our programmes work with young people, in fun and engaging ways, to build life skills, foster a love of lifelong of physical activity, movement and play; and respond to the needs of young people in communities across Aotearoa.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMME

3:15pm - 5.30pm 

Our programme is FREE between 3:15pm - 4pm but children still need to be booked in

4.00pm-5.30pm - Paid after school session

 $19 per day. 

 Includes:

  • Fun activities every day - we have themes each week and special focus days.
    Wednesday - We get crafty with some cool arts and craft activities
    Thursday - Join in with Outdoors Club at 4.15pm for an additional $5 ($24 total for care until 5.30 incl outdoor club)
    Friday - Ice Cream Sundae Friday
  • Afternoon tea
  • Time to do homework, with homework help 
  • An opportunity to have fun, or have some quieter time after the busy school day


PINEHURST OUTDOORS CLUB
Thursdays 4.15pm -5.15pm 

Cost: $24 

Includes afternoon tea and care until 5.30pm

Our outdoor experts lead some awesome outdoor activities including bottle rockets, slack lining, carts and much more. 


HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

From $60 per day. 

Short Day: 7:30am - 3:30pm 

Full Day: 7:30am - 5:30pm

Ages 5-12

Please make sure to bring a packed lunch, drink bottle and suitable clothing and shoes for the day we have planned. 

On day trips we aim to leave by 9am so please make sure you are onsite by then.

I am currently at AUT training to be a primary school teacher because I love working with kids and want to make an impact on their learning. Youthtown offers so many awesome opportunities for me with work experience as I get to plan and execute fun days on programme.

I’m so excited to be working here at Youthtown. I have just finished studying at the University of Auckland and have recently got my masters degree in dance studies. I love sports, arts and crafts and dancing and travelling.
