Youthtown’s In-home Childcare for Everyone!

Following on from our message on Wednesday about waiting on a decision about in-home childcare services for Essential and Non-Essential service workers, we can now confirm that :

For essential service workers

FREE in-home childcare services have been extended by MSD (Ministry of Social Development) to 8 May 2020.

This applies if your child(ren) are unable to attend school due to underlying health conditions and/or no before or after school childcare options are available.

This is specifically for children aged 5-14, in Auckland, Taupo, Upper Hutt and Christchurch.

Our staff member will work only with your family, as an extension of your 'bubble'.

Please contact us with what your family needs are as we’d really like to help you, while you are helping so many others in the community.

Email us  or phone Fiona on 027 836 4424 if you’re interested.

Details of this initiative can be found on the WINZ website :

For ALL families

We understand that non-essential service workers may also need our support with children at home, whether you are working from home or not.

Childcare services are now available through Youthtown at a rate of $30 an hour.

Our staff member, who may already be known to some of you, will work only with your family, as an extension of your 'bubble'.

This is specifically for children aged 5-14, in all locations Youthtown is based (please see the locations section on our website menu).

Email us  or phone Fiona on 027 836 4424 if you’re interested.
