Youthtown Lodge for hire

Schools, Organisations (and private groups) are welcome to hire our new Ohakune Lodge outside of our School Holiday Camps.

Youthtown’s Outdoor Team can also deliver a wide range of team building activities and organise local adventures, to suit your camp or retreat, all at incredible value.

The Lodge and adjacent Chalet accommodates up to 40 people. It has inspiring presentation and communal spaces inside, opening onto a large deck with a view of the Mountain.

The Lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen, 8 bathrooms, feature fireplace, pool table, spa, sauna, and large grassed outdoor area and garden, which makes a very comfortable stay.

Ohakune is a gateway for adventure in every season of the year: 
On land, you can go, bush walking, mountain biking, indoor rock climbing, horse trekking, 4WD driving and more. 
Water activities are available on nearby Whanganui, Rangitikei and Tongariro rivers, such as canoeing, white water rafting, jet boating, fishing and more. 
Snow at Mount Ruapehu’s ski fields (Turoa and Whakapapa) offer skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and more.
Events hosted by Ohakune include the Ohakune Mardi Gras, the Big Mountain Short Film Festival and the Fallout Festival.

School Term Camps

Already set up to accommodate groups of school-aged children and their guardians.

Either D.I.Y. or bolt-on activities can be delivered by our experienced and qualified Youthtown Outdoors team within a fun, social and safe environment.

A package can be tailored to your needs and budget, starting with on-site team building challenges, archery and more; to a wide range of options that can take place on land, water and snow nearby.

Youthtown operates with an Outdoors Mark Safety Management System.

Get away from your office environment for some inspired, strategic thinking and teamwork!

The Youthtown Lodge is a cost effective venue with a perfect presentation space/communal area for group work, besides a very comfortable stay for up to 40 people.

Ohakune offers plenty of options for the breaks or bolt on a Youthtown package to suit - our experienced and qualified Outdoors team provide facilitated team challenges on land, water or snow nearby.
