Upper Hutt
Kia ora I am Jade Eru, the Branch Manager for Youthtown Upper Hutt. I have a massive passion for people and absolutely love my job! How many people are able to say that? Being born and raised in this community, I have a grass roots understanding for what life is like living in a small neighbourhood. Having recently completed a Diploma in Youth Work, I get tremendous enjoyment from seeing young people succeed and develop into young adults.
Here in Upper Hutt we offer an After School programme for years 0-6 kids that is based at Totara Park School. From our Youthtown premises in Railway Avenue – we have a dedicated new programme for year 7 & 8 young people. We also run a Youth Programme for years 9-13 involving workshops and events. Within these 3 programmes that we run here in Upper Hutt, we have a dedicated team that are able to bring out all those awesome physical, technical and creative skills that are dying to be unleashed. Get involved!
After School
Get amongst the fun at Youthtown Upper Hutt this term afterschool. Whether it be sports, the arts, the outdoors, cooking, or just chillin’ with people your own age, Youthtown’s specialised afterschool workshops have something for everyone!

Please note, some of the after school workshops cater to more than Intermediate School students, so if you are interested please don't hesistate to contact us for more details.
Enrolment Process
Step 1: Phone co-ordinator to arrange a time for a visit or to view the programme in action. This gives you an opportunity to let us know about any specific needs your child/ children might have and ascertain the suitability of the programme on offer
Step 2: Complete enrolment forms with a minimum payment of two weeks in advance.
Step 3: Child is enrolled on indicated days. On-going communication of non-attendance and extra days essential. Please note we require two weeks notice of termination of service.
Parents please note: You may be eligible for WINZ subsidies, this is available to parents who are working or studying. The Subsidy is income tested, please visit WINZ or phone 0800 774 004
