Snow Camp FAQ's

Snow Adventure Camps at Youthtown's Ohakune Lodge.

For all levels of experience. Come skiing or snowboarding (and if the field is closed, mountain biking, rock climbing and hot pooling!).

Transport:
Drop off to Youthtown Auckland Office, 110 Mt Eden Rd, Sunday at 12 noon, departing for Ohakune 12:30pm
Pick up from Youthtown Auckland Office, 110 Mt Eden Rd, at approx. 7pm Thursday evening.
 
Accommodation:
Youthtown’s Ohakune Lodge, 42 Park Ave, Ohakune, Mt Ruapehu.
 
Registration process:

If ski or snowboard equipment, jackets or pants etc are required then these can be ordered via this registration process as well.
 
What to bring:
Warm clothing suitable for snow conditions, such as thermal or polypropylene tops, pants, socks etc. 
Any ski or snowboard equipment and clothing, however these can be rented via the registration process.
 
Bedding and towels (for use at the Lodge) are provided, just bring a towel for swimming.
 
Daily schedule at Ohakune:
We depart for the mountain at 8am and return at 4pm.
After dinner there are in-lodge activities.
 
If the mountain is closed there are alternative activities scheduled, such as rock climbing, mountain biking, day walks, hot pool visits etc.
