Activities for either Land or Water:

Land: Archery, blo-karting,  mountain biking,tramping, abseiling, outdoor cooking, bush survival

Water: raft building, kayaking,  skiing, snowboarding, sailing, snorkelling, surfing and windsurfing.  

Youthtown is an accredited Waterwise provider with New Zealand Schools Waterwise Inc. This is the only programme in New Zealand that teaches children about water safety whilst providing practical experience in sailing, kayaking and windsurfing in a controlled marine environment. Our qualified and experienced Waterwise instructors are assessed and our programme is regularly audited by New Zealand Schools Waterwise.

Youthtown operates on a strict ratio policy, which is infuenced by the weather conditions, location of activity & students ability levels.

All equipment is provided.

Waterwise is a four sessions or 2 day programme with times and programmes specially tailored to meet each school's needs and requirements.
