So what’s on offer?
Whether your child wants to tackle their homework, unleash their creative side or gear up for some sporting action, Youthtown runs a great range of activities as part of their after school programme.
Activities are categorised into zones. These include:
GYM ZONE
Fun and innovative team games like soccer, badminton and volleyball are run regularly each afternoon – a healthy and productive way of burning excess energy!
ACTION ZONE
The ultimate place to chill out after a hard day at school! Sing Star, Buzz, dress ups, pool, table tennis and marbles are just some of the cool things kids can get up to.
QUIET ZONE
The Quiet Zone is a place where kids can launch into their homework under the watchful eye of our coordinators. Once homework is complete, fun quizzes, board games and other cool activities make the Quiet Zone come to life!
OUTDOOR ZONE
Youthtown loves to take advantage of good weather! Our Outdoor Zone allows kids to run around, get involved with fun games and enjoy the fresh air.
Rain, hail or shine!
Whatever the weather, nothing can dampen Youthtown’s after school programmes. During the warm summer months, programme coordinators will often arrange visits to local parks and beaches (with parental consent of course), while programmes are run indoors during the winter.
The fun doesn’t stop when it’s raining; however Youthtown provides no television viewing for attendees.
THE LOW DOWN:
The after school programme costs vary depending on how many days your child attends and how far in advance you decide to pay. The following table provides a guideline to our fees:
|
||||||||||||
Youthtown requires this to be paid two weeks in advance. As the programme is substantially subsidised there are no refunds for non-attendance.
Enrolment Process
Step 1: Phone co-ordinator to arrange a time for a visit or to view the programme in action. This gives you an opportunity to let us know about any specific needs your child/ children might have and ascertain the suitability of the programme on offer
Step 2: Complete enrolment forms with a minimum payment of two weeks in advance or take advantage of discounts available to full term subscription
Step 3: Child is enrolled on indicated Days. On-going communication of non-attendance and extra days essential. Please note we require two weeks notice of termination of service.
