Youthtown is an accredited Waterwise provider with New Zealand Schools Waterwise Inc and has been running programmes for two years.

Waterwise teaches children about water safety whilst providing practical experience in sailing optimists and kayaking in a controlled marine environment. Our qualified Waterwise instructors are assessed and our programme is regularly audited by New Zealand Schools Waterwise.

All equipment is provided and Youthtown operates a 1 instructor: 4 student ratios, with at least one rescue boat is in the water at all times.

For those schools in the CBD, Youthtown is able to offer transport from your school to the water and back.

Duration

Waterwise is a six week programme, times are tailored to meet each school's need
Cost: $65.00 per student
