Hi I’m Lisa Hampe, Branch Manager for Youthtown North Shore.
Youthtown North Shore is the place to discover fun and adventure! We offer after school and holiday programmes for youth in school years 0-8 that are jam-packed with exciting workshops and fun daytrips.
We are thrilled to bring you our new intermediate programme which has a strong youth development focus and is especially designed for youth in school years 7 & 8. We’ll do art, cooking, theatre, urban sports, media & music workshops from 3-6pm daily (Mon-Fri). Through these programmes and workshops we support our North Shore youth to grow into well equipped, strong and beautiful young people. Being part of these processes is the most rewarding part of my job!
I studied Social development in Germany and have a strong art based background with experience in advertising, media and tutoring. I live in Greenhithe with my husband and eight year old son, Vincent.
After School
Like all Youthtown activities, the after school programme is something everyone enjoys and looks forward to. Run by experienced and dedicated staff, the programme runs from 3pm – 6pm and caters for children aged 5 – 13-years old.

Safety first
All Youthtown programmes are recognised by OSCAR and built around comprehensive safety policies and procedures. Staff to child ratios differ depending on the activity taking place:
1:10 (standard after school programme)
1:8 (day trips)
1:5 (water-based activities e.g. swimming)
The after school programme costs vary depending on how many days your child attends and how far in advance you decide to pay. The following table provides a guideline to our fees:

Youthtown requires this to be paid two weeks in advance. As the programme is substantially subsidised there are no refunds for non-attendance.
Enrolment Process
Step 1: Phone co-ordinator to arrange a time for a visit or to view the programme in action. This gives you an opportunity to let us know about any specific needs your child/ children might have and ascertain the suitability of the programme on offer
Step 2: Complete enrolment forms with a minimum payment of two weeks in advance.
Step 3: Child is enrolled on indicated Days. On-going communication of non-attendance and extra days essential. Please note we require two weeks notice of termination of service.

You may be eligible for WINZ subsidies, this is available to parents who are working or studying. The Subsidy is income tested, please visit WINZ or phone 0800 774 004

Youth
In Term 4 we have an awesome line up of activities running daily especially for Intermediate aged youth in years 7 & 8. All this for just $16 per day including afternoon tea! OSCAR Subsidies are available for qualifying families.
