Time to recognise our sporting volunteers - 2012 Sport Volunteer Awards

At Youthtown we know about the power of volunteers to get the job done. As a charity we rely on the hard work of volunteers on many levels. We’d like to show our support for Sport New Zealand (formerly known as SPARC) and their quest to say thanks to all the sports volunteers out there with the 2012 Sports Volunteer Awards.

These Awards are open to any volunteer across any sports code. Three Awards will be made in each region with regional winners also in the running for the title of New Zealand Sports Volunteer of the Year. If the nominee has volunteered for more than 25 years, they’ll be inducted in the Sport Volunteer Hall of Fame.

So do your bit, support Sport New Zealand in their mission to recognise and thank all the sports volunteers out there. You can send personalised eCard messages to let them know their commitment is appreciated, and nominate your favourite volunteer for the 2012 Sports Volunteer Award.
