Mountain Safety Council celebrates its volunteers!Youthtown staff member Tom Hopkins was recognised by the NZ Mountain Safety Council (MSC) recently. As one of five nominees for the MSC's Volunteer of the Year Award, Tom's volunteer work was acknowledged by the organisation. Even though Tom didn’t win the overall award, it gave us a chance to remember volunteers are the life blood of any organisation - including ours.
Youthtown would like to thank him for all his work over the past couple of years and wish him well for the future!
