Short Film Challenge Premiere
Eleven competitors are vying for the top prize in the Youthtown’s Short Film Competition; Judges will announce winners at the August 18 Premiere and we’d love to see you all there! The Short Films were submitted by young film makers in Auckland, Taupo, Palmerston North and Whangarei. The films cover a variety of genres from documentary, animation, horror to gangster homage. Come along and check out the Short Film Challenge Premiere, showcasing a collection of films made by talented young film makers. Venue: The Academy Cinema, Auckland Central Library Building, 44 Lorne St. Date: Wednesday 18th August 2010 Time: 7.00pm – 10.00pm Following the screening of the films, the judges will announce the 1st & 2nd prize winners who will receive $2000 and $500 respectively of Harvey Norman vouchers supplied by Harvey Norman, Wairau Road. The winner of Best Director award will receive a one week Intro to TV And Production course at South Seas Film and Television School. Nibbles will be provided prior to viewing.
