Youthtown Upper Hutt School Holiday Programme

Youthtown Upper Hutt School Holiday Programme caters for children aged 7-13 at the activities centre, at Maidstone Park Pavilion, Park Rd, Upper Hutt. Youthtown provides high quality, OSCAR School Holiday Programmes with experienced staff and a staff/child ratio of 1:10 (1:8 ratios for daytrips and 1:6 swimming).

9.00am – 4.30pm

In House Programme

A morning roll will be taken and all children will assemble for a brief daily meeting. This is conducted to communicate activities on offer for the day and to go over the fair rules of Youthtown.
The Choice of activities is categorized into the
following zones;

• In our Creative Zone we offer an extensive variety of art
  activities to foster children's individual creativity.
• Our Quiet Zone provides a fun and educational component
  to Youthtown's programmes.
• Cooking Zone will operate daily to guide children safely
  through all steps of cooking. Recipes are simple, fun and
  easy to reproduce at home.
• Our Action Zone is the fun place to be in the holidays,
  sing star, dress ups, buzz, paper plane throwing, creative
  music sessions and marbles to name a few of the activities
  available.
• In our Outdoor Zone we offer outdoor scavenger & treasure
  hunts, and innovative age appropriate fun games.

Please note Youthtown provides no Television watching
for children. However a TV will be used to operate
interactive video games and to run Movie sessions
throughout the holidays.

Important Programme Information

• Youthtown Upper Hutt Holiday programme, activities
  and trips operate under policies and procedures set and
  approved by CYFS, and Youthtown. These policies are
  available from Youthtown for you to view at any time.
• Pre registration and payments is essential as the
  programme and trips book out quickly. All activities are
  strictly limited.
  
• Casual Entry on a daily basis is subject to availability and is
  not guaranteed
  You may be eligible for WINZ subsidies, this is available
  to parents who are working or studying. The Subsidy is
  income tested, please visit WINZ or phone 0800 774 004
