Break-Away
What is the Break-Away School Holiday Programme and who is it for?
Young people from Auckland, Taupo and Christchurch will have the chance to experience fun and adventure with Youthtown this summer, thanks to the Government’s Break-Away funding initiative.
The funding means young people and teenagers between 11 and 17 can register and take part in Youthtown’s summer holiday programmes at no cost.
The programmes, divided into 11-13 and 14-17 age groups, involve a range of activities including: watersports, team challenges, outdoor adventures, art workshops, sports, games, cooking and loads more.
Young people from ‘high needs’ areas will be targeted to join the Break-Away programmes. Participant selection will be through parent or self-referral, and places will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.
Express your interest in the programme and fill in the form below for a summer holiday programme you'll never forget!
