After School Clubs and Holiday Programme.

During term time the art programme provides art activities within the frame work of the Oscar approved, Youthtown after school programme. The Art studio runs art clubs which are buzzing with exciting, age appropriate activities. Our successful clubs this terms art clubs have been Funky Fabrics and Mask Making. In Term 2 we see the introduction of - Eco Clubs, Skateboarding and Urban Art Club

Art Studio Holiday Programme

As part of the Youthtown School Holiday Programme the Art studio runs sessions, offering a wide variety of art activities, for example collage, clay printing sculpture to name a few. Children are invited to visit the studio, create a master piece and then take it home. They will have exposure to new materials and processes which will give them more skills and confidence in their own creative practice.

All costs for children to use the art studio during these programmes are covered in the After School/ Holiday programme fees.

Starship Holiday Programme

Youthtown art programme in partnership with Starship Hospital are establishing a holiday programme for child patients and their whanau. The programme aims to have an exciting space in the foyer at Starship where children can relax, find stimulation and a space to create and reflect. We will have many exciting activities with an on going emphasis on memory making.
