After School Programmes
Youthtown offers fun and engaging after school programmes designed to build young peoples’ self-esteem and confidence through participation. We have specifically designed workshops that cover a range of physical, creative and social activities for primary, intermediate and secondary school students to enjoy.

AFTER SCHOOL (Age 5-13)
Youthtown’s fun and engaging after school programmes for ages 5-13 are recognised by the Ministry of Social Development and built around comprehensive OSCAR (Out of School Care And Recreation) safety policies and procedures.
Parents please note: You may be eligible for a WINZ subsidy, this is available to parents who are working or studying. The subsidy is income tested, to find out more please phone 0800 774 004

AFTER SCHOOL (INTERMEDIATE)
A fun place for years 7 and 8 to connect, learn new skills and enjoy new experiences and adventures. We have a range of different workshops that are available in Auckland Central, Oamaru, Upper Hutt and North Shore. Join in our workshops and discover fun and adventure at Youthtown.

Secondary Programmes offered in Auckland Central, Taupo, Upper Hutt, Oamaru and Christchurch.
New to Youthtown?
Here’s how to join our programmes:
- Step 1: Phone your local branch to arrange a time to visit or view the programme in action (if desired). This gives you an opportunity to let us know about any specific needs your child/children might have and ascertain the suitability of the programme on offer.
- Step 2: Complete enrolment forms with a minimum payment required two weeks in advance or take advantage of discounts available for full term subscription.
- Step 3: Child is enrolled on indicated days. Ongoing communication of non-attendance and extra days is essential. Please note we require two weeks notice of termination of service
